Students with prior piano experience are required to take a placement exam to determine appropriate entry into Levels 1–5. Advancement through the levels is based on passing a proficiency exam at the completion of each level.

Instruction Approach
The School offers personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning style. The school offer a multi-sensory approach—including hands-on, auditory, and visual methods—to support skill development, creativity, and musical growth.

Lesson Cost: $80 per hour
Level 1 – Beginner Piano
Level One is designed for beginning piano students. At this stage, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of piano playing, including:

Listening to and producing piano sounds

Recognizing melody and harmony patterns

Understanding the importance of rhythm and five-finger patterns

Learning basic technique, including key approach and attack

Exploring musical terms related to piano performance
Students will also begin working on scales, arpeggios, chord production, and triads, while developing an understanding of musical notation as it relates to piano playing. Each lesson builds progressively, laying a strong foundation for continued musical growth and advancement.

Level 2 – Early Intermediate Piano
In Level Two, students continue building on foundational skills as they progress into early intermediate piano studies. Instruction focuses on:

Learning major and minor scales in ascending and descending forms

Developing fluency with arpeggios, broken chords, and trills

Students in Level Two deepen their technical skills and musical understanding, preparing them for more advanced repertoire and expressive performance.

Level 3 – Intermediate Piano
In Level Three, students begin to deepen their connection with music by applying their knowledge of musical notation and piano technique to the art of musical interpretation. Emphasis is placed on developing each student’s personal expression, how they feel and respond to the music from within.

Students will explore how to bring written music to life through expressive playing, dynamic control, phrasing, and emotional nuance. At this stage, learners are encouraged to interpret music not just technically, but artistically, expanding their ability to communicate through the piano.

Level Three marks a meaningful step as students begin to truly connect with piano expression and develop their unique musical voice.

Level 4 – Intermediate to Advanced Piano
Level Four is designed for serious piano students who are ready to refine their technique and deepen their artistic expression. At this stage, students will:
